Rental rates define how much your clients pay. Requiply supports three pricing types — per hour, per day, and per month — each with clear billing logic so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Pricing Types

Per Hour

Billing is calculated strictly by clock hours. Every started hour counts as a full billable hour.

25

How it works: Requiply counts the total minutes between start and end, then rounds up to the next full hour. 24 hours and 10 minutes = 25 billable hours.

Per Day

Billing is calculated in 24-hour blocks. Every started 24-hour period counts as a full billable day.

3

How it works: Requiply counts the total hours between start and end, then rounds up to the next full 24-hour block. 24 hours = 1 day. 25 hours = 2 days.

Per Month

Billing is calculated in calendar-month blocks. Each started month counts as a full billable month. A "month" is defined as the same date in the next calendar month (e.g., March 5 → April 5 = 1 month).

How Pricing Inheritance Works

You set a pricing type and rate at the item group level. All individual SKUs within that group automatically inherit the same pricing. You cannot set different rates for individual SKUs — pricing is always managed from the parent group.

Set a Price for an Item Group

1

Go to Items

Go to Inventory → Items and select the group you want to price.

Open Editing Page

Each item group supports a single pricing type. If you need to switch from per-day to per-hour billing, update the pricing type — this replaces the previous one.

Current Limitations

Discounts and custom per-booking pricing are not yet available. All bookings are billed at the rate defined on the item group. These features are on the roadmap.
