Get your rental business online in under 10 minutes. This guide walks you through creating your account, adding your first items, and making your first booking.

What You Can Do with Requiply

Requiply gives you everything you need to run a rental business from one place:

  • Inventory Management — Add items, track availability, set pricing, and organize your catalogue with categories and photos.

  • Booking Management — Create, edit, and manage bookings with real-time availability checks and conflict prevention.

  • Maintenance Tracking — Log maintenance tasks, schedule servicing, and keep your equipment in top shape.

  • Website Builder — Launch a public-facing rental website where customers can browse your inventory and request bookings.


Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Enter your email, create a password, and fill in your business name.

  2. Confirm your email address via the link sent to your inbox.

  3. You're in. Requiply drops you straight into your dashboard.

💡 Tip: Use your real business name during registration — it appears on your public rental website and invoices.


Step 2: Add Your First Item

Your inventory is the foundation of everything in Requiply. Start by adding at least one item.

  1. Navigate to Inventory in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Add Item.

  3. Fill in the essentials:

    • Name — what your customers will see (e.g., "Canon EOS R5", "Projector Epson EB-S41")

    • Category — group similar items together (e.g., "Cameras", "Audio Equipment")

    • Daily Rate — how much you charge per day

    • Quantity — how many units you have available

  4. Upload a photo. Items with photos get more bookings.

  5. Click Save.

Repeat this for a few more items to build out your catalogue. You can always come back and edit details later.


Step 3: Create Your First Booking

Now that you have items in your inventory, create a booking.

  1. Go to Bookings in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Create Booking.

  3. Select the customer (or add a new one on the spot).

  4. Pick the item(s) you want to include in this booking.

  5. Set the Start Date and End Date. Requiply automatically checks availability and calculates the total.

  6. Review the summary and click Confirm Booking.

That's it — your first booking is live. You'll see it on your dashboard and in the bookings calendar.
